As dean of Student Health, Safety, and Well-being, Andrea brings more than a decade of experience in the field of international education and student support. Prior to joining SIT, she served in safety and security leadership roles at Vanderbilt University and at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has led international workshops on risk mitigation, crisis communication, and supporting student mental health. Andrea has completed training with FEMA, the Foreign Service Institute, the U.S. Department of State through OSAC, and maintains certifications in leading security programs.
