Morgan Morris Inabinet serves as the Director of Education Abroad at the University of South Carolina. She previously served as UofSC’s first Assistant Director for Global Health, Safety, and Security and as an International Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Department of Justice. She holds a BA in history from Furman University and an MA in international studies from the University of South Carolina. As an undergraduate, she traveled internationally for the first time for a study abroad program in China and later studied for an academic year in the United Kingdom. Morgan has contributed to the international education and global security fields through various leadership roles with NAFSA’s Education Abroad Regulatory Practice Committee and Pulse; she currently serves as the Chair of the South Carolina Association of International Educators and as the Chair of Women in Security’s Programming Subcommittee.
